The application of series and films from the apple company is already compatible with devices outside its ecosystem with the aim of expanding its audience.
After several years of waiting and uncertainty, Apple has finally decided that its streaming content platform Apple TV will be available on Android devices through Google Play. This is a business move motivated by the decision to bring more users onto its subscription platform, which in the long run will increase the company’s revenue.
In this sense, individuals who have any device with the aforementioned operating system can now enjoy the extensive catalog of films and television series that the platform offers to consumers of its service. All this, without the need for any official device from the Apple brand that has iOS as an integrated operating system.
However, this is not the first application from the apple company to land on this series of devices. Its streaming music app Apple Music has been available on Android devices for several years, so it seems that the company wants to take its services beyond its ecosystem.

Although Apple TV was already an application compatible with different Smart TV models, it is now also possible to enjoy this platform through our mobile phones and tablets that have Android as an integrated operating system. In this way, the exclusion of these types of customers from this service has completely disappeared.
Apple has not made any statement regarding this change of course. However, it is speculated that the main reason is toincrease the number of users of its platform for streaming audiovisual content, so that it can better compete with other applications of the same kind, such as Netflix, Prime Video or Max.
