The American author Ashley St. Clair, 26, revealed this Saturday on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that she is the mother of Elon Musk’s 13th child. “Five months ago I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” the conservative author, close to Donald Trump’s campaign to reach the White House, said in a long statement. The announcement of the birth of the baby took place on the night of Valentine’s Day.
On Elon Musk’s social network, the writer justified this sudden statement. “I have not revealed this before to protect the privacy and safety of our son, but in recent days it has become clear that the tabloids intend to do so, regardless of the damage this may cause,” she explained.
“I intend to allow our child to grow up in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media respect our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting,” he added. Shortly after St. Clair’s announcement, Musk wrote a cryptic post for X in response to a fan who said that making ‘another baby’ was another of Musk’s ”side missions.” The tycoon reacted to that message with a laughing and crying emoji.

The relationship between Ashley St. Clair and Musk is not the first time it has gained publicity. The couple have been exchanging messages in public since May 2023 when they started a digital flirtation that in the light of this news would have turned into a personal relationship. According to the Daily Mail, since then they have sent racy messages about “penis photos”, “how babies are made” and “horny jail”.
Musk has at least 12 other children with three women: Justine Wilson, Claire Elise Boucher, the real name of the artist Grimes, and Shivon Zilis. St Clair was born in Florida and raised in Colorado. As an author she has gained a million followers on Twitter, displaying her conservative and provocative personality. She is known as the author of an anti-woke children’s book about gender identity and has faced criticism for dating alleged white supremacists. She has a son from a previous relationship and has been living in a luxury apartment in Manhattan for the past year.
